You do not need to reinstall ScriptureSignal to request deletion. Use the email link below from the email address registered to your ScriptureSignal account.
Request deletion outside the app
- Email the ScriptureSignal privacy contact from your registered account email.
- Use the subject ScriptureSignal account deletion request.
- State that you want the ScriptureSignal account associated with that email address and its associated user data permanently deleted.
- Respond to any reasonable account-ownership verification request. Never send your password, payment-card details, or one-time security codes.
If the button does not open your email app, send the request to support@scripturesignal.com.
Delete from the app
Signed-in users can also open Profile > Privacy & Your Data > Delete Account, read the permanent-deletion warning, enter the required confirmation, and submit the request.
What is deleted
After account ownership is verified and the request is completed, ScriptureSignal deletes the authentication identity and associated account data, including profile and preference data, saved studies, study and path progress, check-in and routing history, quiz activity and achievements, legal-consent records, subscription-entitlement records, and account-linked service metadata.
Device-local Body & Soul self-report history is not stored in the account. It can be removed in the app, by clearing the app’s storage, or by uninstalling the app.
Subscription note
Deleting a ScriptureSignal account does not automatically cancel a subscription managed by Google Play or Apple. Cancel any active platform subscription in the applicable store’s subscription center to prevent future renewal. Account deletion does not create a refund.
Limited retention
Specific records may be retained only when necessary for a legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory obligation. If that applies, ScriptureSignal will identify the retained category and reason. Retained information is not kept for continued app personalization.
