ScriptureSignal respects your privacy. This policy explains the information we may collect through our website, waitlist, interactive concept preview, future applications, and related services, and how we may use and protect it.
Website and waitlist information
When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your first name, email address, primary product interest, phone platform, beta-update consent, and optional promotional-email consent. Netlify hosts the site and processes the form submission on our behalf, including basic technical information needed to deliver the site, prevent spam, and record the submission.
How we use waitlist information
- To provide the requested concept preview and maintain the beta waitlist.
- To send beta invitations and essential product or launch updates you requested.
- To understand broad audience interests and platform demand.
- To send news or promotional offers only when you separately select that optional choice.
- To secure the website, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Interactive concept preview
The current website preview does not connect to the ScriptureSignal app database or create a live app account. A first name or preview selection may be kept temporarily in your browser session to personalize the walkthrough and is cleared when the session ends.
Scripture Here location feature
The website’s Scripture Here sequence is a simulation. It uses a sample place or a place category you select manually and does not request your device’s GPS coordinates. In the future app, Scripture Here is optional. If you choose Detect My Place, your coordinates may be sent once through ScriptureSignal to Geoapify to infer a place type and are then discarded rather than stored. You may decline location access and select a place manually instead. Location is not used for advertising.
Soul Signal self-report
The website’s Soul Signal sequence is a simulation and keeps its sample values in the browser session only. The future app feature is based on values you choose and enter yourself. Current device-health integrations are inactive, and ScriptureSignal does not use Soul Signal to diagnose, monitor, treat, predict, or infer a medical, mental-health, crisis, moral, or spiritual condition.
ScriptureSignal app information
The ScriptureSignal app has a separate, more specific App Privacy Policy covering its account, feature, subscription, optional location, and self-reported information practices. The app policy applies when you use the app; this website policy applies to the marketing site, waitlist, and interactive concept preview.
Sharing and service providers
ScriptureSignal does not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the website, process forms, deliver email, operate the future app, provide analytics, prevent abuse, support billing, or comply with law. They may use the information only as permitted for those services and their applicable terms.
Email choices
Beta and product-update emails are tied to your waitlist request. Promotional emails are optional. You may use an unsubscribe link when available or contact us to change either choice. We may still send necessary administrative messages related to a request you made.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including maintaining the waitlist, resolving requests, protecting the service, and meeting legal or operational requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete waitlist information, or withdraw a communication preference, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification. Email privacy@scripturesignal.com or legal@scripturesignal.com.
Children’s privacy
ScriptureSignal is intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and our practices evolve. We will post the revised date on this page and provide additional notice when appropriate.
